Welcome to Iconceramics. Joseph Pintz earned his Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and urban studies at Northwestern University and completed post-baccalaureate studies in ceramics at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. In 2006, he received his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2006-2007, he was a resident artist at the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts where he was awarded the Lincoln Fellowship. He currently teaches ceramics at Bowling Green State University. His sculptural and functional work explores the role that domestic objects play in fulfilling our needs on a physical and emotional level.
